1. Introduction

TimeConnect respects the privacy of its users and is committed to handling personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when using the TimeConnect mobile application.

By using TimeConnect, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information processed by TimeConnect

When using TimeConnect, limited personal information may be processed to enable the core functionality of the app.

This may include:

• An email address.
• A chosen username or display name.
• An optional profile photo.
• Information about watches added to your collection.
• Images voluntarily uploaded to the app.
• Posts, comments and other content voluntarily shared within TimeConnect.
• Other information voluntarily entered while using app features.

TimeConnect does not intentionally collect precise location data, contact lists, payment information or sensitive personal data as part of its normal app functionality.

3. How your information is used

Information processed through TimeConnect is used exclusively to provide and operate the application and its features.

This includes:

• Creating and maintaining user accounts.
• Displaying profiles and user-generated content.
• Saving and displaying watch collections.
• Supporting social and community features.
• Providing educational watch-related content.
• Maintaining the technical operation and security of the application.
• Investigating technical issues or misuse of the service.

TimeConnect does not sell or trade personal information.

4. Adalo infrastructure

Personal data used by TimeConnect is processed and stored through the technical infrastructure of the app's no-code platform provider, Adalo.

Adalo provides the hosting environment, database storage and technical infrastructure required for the operation of the TimeConnect mobile application.

Data stored through the app is hosted and managed through this platform, and access to that data is subject to Adalo's technical and organisational safeguards.

TimeConnect does not independently maintain a separate external database containing user account information outside of the infrastructure used to operate the application.

5. Public and private information

Some TimeConnect features allow users to intentionally share information with other members of the community.

Information that you publish through public areas of TimeConnect, including profile information, watch collections, posts or comments, may therefore be visible to other users.

Information specifically presented as private within TimeConnect is intended to remain private to the relevant user and is not intentionally displayed publicly.

6. Photos and uploaded content

TimeConnect allows users to voluntarily upload images and other watch-related content.

Images are processed when a user chooses to upload or use them within the application.

Users should only upload content they have the right to use and should avoid publishing information they do not wish other users to see.

7. Push notifications

TimeConnect may use push notifications to provide users with relevant information about the app, community activity, updates or watch-related content.

Permission for push notifications is controlled through the user's device and can be changed or disabled through the device settings.

8. TimeConnect website and Firebase Hosting

The public TimeConnect website is hosted using Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google.

Firebase Hosting is used to make the TimeConnect website, support page, Privacy Policy and other public files available online.

The TimeConnect website is separate from the Adalo infrastructure used to store and operate user accounts and application content.

9. Advertising

TimeConnect does not currently serve third-party advertising within the mobile application.

TimeConnect therefore does not currently process user information for third-party advertising purposes.

If an advertising service such as Google AdMob is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that advertising service is activated to explain the relevant provider and data processing.

10. Apple and Google

Apple and Google may independently process information when users download, install or use TimeConnect through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Information processed directly by Apple or Google is governed by the respective privacy policies and terms of those companies.

11. Data access, correction and deletion

Users may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with their TimeConnect account.

Because application data is processed and stored through the app platform, these requests will be handled within the technical capabilities of the platform and processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Where account deletion controls are available directly within the app, users may also use those controls.

12. Data retention

Information associated with a TimeConnect account may be retained for as long as the account remains active or for as long as necessary to provide the application's functionality.

Some information may be retained for a limited additional period where technically necessary or where required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

13. Security

TimeConnect relies on the technical infrastructure and security measures provided by the platforms used to operate the application.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect information processed through TimeConnect. However, no internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's privacy

TimeConnect is not intended for children under the age of 13, and TimeConnect does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If it becomes known that personal information from a child under 13 has been provided through TimeConnect, appropriate steps may be taken to review and remove that information.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to TimeConnect, its features or the technical services used to operate the application.

Any updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly.

Continued use of TimeConnect after an update constitutes continued use of the service under the revised policy.
